we started with a last minute plan change and drive ourselves to the airport, but we still managed to arrive in good time. Matt had a pretty rough day, being thrown off schedule much. a few little meltdowns in the airport. he tolerated the plane pretty well as did kaitlyn, though they were both bored! we stopped at Costco to get scuba gear for kids and macadamia nuts (purportedly for gifts - but we are eating them all!) and ate there - tony liked that they had gelato. Matt still having a hard time. made it to the hotel and got a free upgrade to an ocean view room :) headed to the px, got boogie boards and went to the pool and beach for a few hours. we were too tired for dinner, so we had some macadamia nuts and went to bed!
