Skiing with grandma!

Took a short trip to grandma's so mom could get in her one day of skiing for the season. in the morning grandma and i took turns helping kaitlyn - she was better later on - learned to stand on her own on the skiis. then i got to ski all afternoon while grandma and kaitlyn played, then took another run with kaitlyn before quittin' time - she made a friend on the slopes and i think is hooked for life (much to tony's dismay). had no problems riding the lift. matt stayed with dad - but had fun dressing up in hat and mittens. both kids enjoyed hot tubbing and kaitlyn liked the static electricity in gransma's tent!

Freya's first birthday

Dad, Abby, Kaitlyn and I made the trip to Eugene to celebrate Freya's first Birthday. They had lots of fun - stayed overnight in a hotel, got to sim with grandpa and dye easter eggs with grandma. They ate yummy monkey cupcakes made by camille and played in great playgrounds with the birthday girl. they got to wear the matching dresses grandma made! moose helped out a little with the driving.

The beach at the end of february is still pretty cold, but kaitlyn wanted to go wading so matt held her shoes for her (he does not like the sand between his toes thing!) and hamish went swimming! they also enjoyed playing at the zoo and local parks on the few days we had with sun.
