kaitlyn is becoming quite the skier. she and abby hit the slopes at crystal last week. both of them skiing by themselves for short distances. they loved it too. the boys enjoyed sledding and playing with grandpas (grandpa lawson and grandpa fritz) and got to try out the little skiis. i have a picture of matt enjoying his favorite activity - which was standing or sitting underneath the freezing cold snow melt drip from the roof of the lodge. a few commented that maybe he isn't quite right in the head (likely secondary to trauma since is forever ramming his head into things - both accidentally and on purpose) but i like to think he is just a true northwest child enjoying a freezing cold rain!
