spring fair!

the kids had fun at the spring fair today. you can see kaitlyn had a little more fun than matt - not quite old enough for the crafts and the rides - was getting a litte frustrated at one point then just decided to nap for a little bit. kaitlyn planted pumpkins, made a hat got her arm painted (not quite ready for the face paint yet), rode rides, watched dancing horses, frisbee catching dogs, petted goats and rabbits and ate scones and a corndog. matt watched all that - played an arty drumset, tried to set some speed records everytime he got out of the stroller and ate some scone. matt also disturbed me a little by realling clapping and getting into the country music while waiting for the pigs to race - but i think the look i cought on his face shows his skepticism of this form of music as well!

matching boys, park

hayden and abby came up to go to the zoo and see grandma last weekend. we finally got the boys into matching outfits - kaitlyn as usual insisted on wearing her new purple dress. went to the park today - pretty chilly but the kids had lots of fun!

Haircut

before and after pictures. i think i will spring for the professional cut next time. oh well - it grows plenty fast!

Early Easter

we colored and hunted for easter eggs today along with papa dale and aunt sandy. matt found one egg all by himself and sister helped him find a few more. kaitlyn is quite a good easter egg hunter and i have a feeling she and papa dale will be hunting easter eggs all day tomorrow!

sick matt

matt is slowly recovering from his viral gastroenteritis - vomiting for 3 days, now horrible diarrhea. he has been forced off formula and milk (make diarrhea worse) and amazingly enough that has starved him to the point where he is actually eating baby food! - i took a picture just to prove that he actually opened his mouth for someone else to feed him. he is also learning to color and kaitlyn is making doggie friends
