August fun

Matt was lucky enough to enjoy the last two and a half years of Teacher Joy's career. She was his preschool teacher and Matt progressed wonderfully in her class. After purchasing a treeehouse picnic package at her house at the auction last year, she has told us that we have a standing invite. So we invited along one of matt's classmates and his sister and headed to vashon on a beautiful August day. The kids had a great time, not only did they get to play on the treehouse and with teacher joy's grandkids and their toys but they got to ride the ferry!

lake stevens 70.3

Tony competed in his first half ironman triathalon in Lake stevens this year. He did very well and made his goal time, and even said he was less sore than after the marathon. the kids enjoyed it as well - mostly because we stayed at a hotel and they got to swim in a pool after dropping tony off for his early morning start. kaitlyn was particularly happy with the hotel because they had rice and furikake for breakfast!

Hayden's Birthday

Hayden's B-day. All the cousins were able to get together for an early party for Hayden's birthday. lots of fun was had with pinatas and paddleboards! and i got to see my phoo baby (seen here on top of the car)!
