Amocat clamming and oystering

clamming and oystering trip to belfair. kaitlyn was on the food committee and they did a great job planning and grocery shopping and cooking. kaitlyn, of course, loved both. Matt, of course, didn't try either. neither were fans of the wicked wind and didn't stay long on the mud flats, but everyone had fun!

cousin fun

on sat we all hiked around the base of smith rocks. the hike morphed into an amazing race adventure with a boy cousin team and a girl cousin team. they all had fun and Matt, kaitlyn and Abby ran most of the way back (over a mile!) . back at grandma's the cousins slept over and there was dress up, hot tub and face/body paint. there was also a fall from the upper bunk (matt) but no serious injury. in the morning they all played at Hayden park before the cousins went home and we settled into the Prius to drive through the spring blizzard on mt hood on our way home.
