Victoria!

Mom joined us for a post-christmas trip to Victoria.  We took the clipper, which we had never done before.  It is a much smaller boat than the car ferries and accordingly gets knocked around more by the sea.  Kaitlyn and I both got quite seasick!  Highlights of the trip were the ghost tour and tea at the empress.

tony had to work, but the kids and i enjoyed a day playing with our new toys.  i spent the whole day putting together my cool lego restaurant.  i did force the kids to take a walk to get outside for a bit - as you can see from the picture, they thoroughly enjoyed it.

robotics competition

Matthew has really enjoyed being on the robotics team (mechanically powered nitro chickens) at grant.  I had to work and did not get to go to the competition, but got some pictures sent.  they had a great time.
