Went for a run around the camp in the morning - pretty neat little place!
Did a little hiking before we headed out - in the background - that white is snow on mauna loa - that's unusual - they get snow on mauna kea, but not usually on mauna loa. all the rangers were talking about it.
Had to stop at the macadamia plantation!
One of the highlights of the trip was getting to see Dr. Alfred Mina! One of my classmates and n amazing artist. He works way too hard, but was a great host - buying us fabulous cookies and coffee and taking time to go out to a yummy japanese dinner.
