we had three days off together , so after kat's school friday we headed north to vancouver bc. it was a rather rough weekend unfortunately. both because we don't like crowds and everything was crowded and because kaitlyn was trying out her newfound talent for whining and matt was as usual in three hundred directions at once - or in one memorable moment - flat on his back (picture of this) at the aquarium for about 10 minutes. would scream bloody murder and become violent if attempts were made to move him so i just sat and watched that no one stepped on him until he decided to get up on his own. oh well. as far as vancouver for kids - well stanley park was great sunday probably the best day just spent playground hopping. then of course pagliacci's and hagen-daz on the ave in seattle on the way home.

They're both getting to be so big! I love the pics with you each with the kids. The tantrum thing - classic! Your response - perfect. What is it with boys named Matt and having tantrums? Mine can throw some good ones too. I have to grit my teeth (and ignore the looks from others) until my own kids decide there are better ways to get attention. Good momma, Kirsten!

I found your blog through Suz's page. I cannot believe how big the kids are! Kaitlyn is turning into a beautiful young lady and Matt is adorable. I miss you guys! We will have to meet up when I come back to Tacoma someday. Until then, you have an open invitation to come visit me in Idaho ;)
